World Premiere of Envirodine Studios Patent Pending Environmental Media Technology to Highlight Proof of Concept Dinner Event at IBM Facility in August 2001.
(Atlanta, GA) For two days this August, in Atlanta, Georgia, business, investment and financial leaders from the southeast U.S and beyond will be treated to a groundbreaking showcase of a new form of entertainment technology from Envirodine Studios. Trademarked as Tele-Portal™ technology, this exciting software driven, full sensory experience, allows retailers of all types to change the feel and function of their interior space in very short periods of time.
According to Jeffrey Sherwood, CEO of Envirodine Studios, “For years retail companies have struggled with a common problem in their marketplace, a phenomenon known in the trade as the “honeymoon effect”. Just about everyone has seen crowds at new restaurants and other new stores dwindle over time, until that “hot” retail store is just one of the crowd. In fact, many retail businesses fail because they base their overhead on the initial rush, only to be taken by surprise when their customers move on to the next new “hotspot”.
Envirodine believes their new technology is the answer to the American consumer's “been there, done that” attitude. Sherwood adds, “the ability to change the entire look of a retail establishment in just hours, will provide retailers with a powerful tool to keep themselves sharp and ahead of the competition. Products and services can be displayed in timely settings, allowing retailers to more easily capitalize on seasonality, special events, changing trends, etc.” Other industry verticals for this new technology would be Hospitality, Education, and Home Entertainment.
Continues Sherwood, “our Tele-Portal™ proof of concept will be presented as a gourmet dining experience, since we believe restaurants will be one of our biggest marketplaces. We'll be showcasing our “new media” along with the skills of an internationally renowned chef, as our guests are served world class cuisine in our uniquely flexible entertainment environment. In fact, to make as large an impact as possible, we will actually change the environmental locale of the dining experience as our guests dine, something that we believe has never been done before.”
